| Class Location - MGMC Lapidary Shop, 4994 7th
Street, downtown
Mariposa, next door to the MGMC Store, down back stairs from Sherri's Framing. Pre-registration and Pre-Payment Required. Members: $5.00; Non-Members: $10.00 Materials required for class may be brought to class or purchased at the time of class. Only place to register/pay is at the MGMC Store, 4994 7th Street, Mariposa. Call before you stop by as store hours vary: 209-966-4367. Typically open M-Sat. 10:00-4:00 (dependent upon volunteer staffing). Please note each class has limited seating; registration/payment date determines who has a seat first. Classes fill-up rapidly, please do not hesitate if you want a specific class or a favorite instructor. 8/25/10 10:00 A.M. Wire-wrapping with Mary Foster “caging the wild cabochon.For the wire-art class: All tools and materials will be available at the class. However, if students have small (4"-5") hand tools, please bring as this is what we will be using: Flat nose pliers, Round nose pliers, Chain nose pliers and cutters. For wire; we will be using 20 or 22 Gauge square wire, (gold-filled or sterling silver) to wire-wrap a small cabochon or stone for a pendant. Students may bring their own materials, wire and/or cabochon. Cost of materials will depend on gauge/size and amount of wire required for project. 8/27/10 (Friday) 10:00 A.M.
